The espresso cup is perfect for a macchiato or short black. This versatile vessel is also great for saké or green tea. Each piece is entirely handmade in Sydney. Mud Australia uses the best French porcelains available to create each piece in the series. Having both a matt and gloss side creates a stunning contrast within each piece - the matt outside creating texture and providing a beautiful tactility and the gloss reflecting light and providing a colour difference. A fabulous, unique gift with meaning.

  • Mud Australia can be safely used in the oven, dishwasher and microwave.
  • With time and frequent use, the exterior will become smooth from handling, adding to the individuality of each piece
  • Dimensions: (w x h) 7 x 5.5cm

Please note: Each piece is crafted by hand so this means irregularities in size, colour, glaze & texture, reflect the many human touches received during the making process and should be embraced.

Recommended care: When using Mud ceramics, please be wary of thermal shock; cracking which can result from rapid temperature changes from hot to cold and vice versa. It’s very easy to avoid if you follow some simple rules. If you have stone bench tops, use a tea towel or wooden board to put dishes onto when taking them from the oven or microwave. Do not put hot dishes into cold water. When using mud for food storage in a refrigerator, let pieces approach room temperature before heating in a microwave or preheated oven.
